Only you can prevent wildfires.
Smokey Bear is the national symbol of wildfire prevention. he was born on August 9, 1944, when artist Albert Staehie painted a poster showing Smokey pouring a bucket of water on a campfire. The bear soon became very popular, and his image appeared on many forest fire prevention materials.
In 1950, a real bear cub found himself caught in a burning forest in New Mexico. He climbed a tree to survive but was still badly burned. The firefighters who found him were so moved by his bravery, and they named the tiny cub, Smokey. News about this black bear spread, and he was given a new home at the National Zoo in Washington D.C.

Cat in the Hat
The Cat in the Hat is a children's book by the American author Theodor Geisel, published and illustrated in 1957, using the pen name Dr. Seuss. The Story is based on A tall anthropomorphic cat wearing a red and white-striped hat and a red bow tie.
The Cat shows up at the house of Sally and her brother one rainy day when their mother is away. Despite the repeated objections of the children's fish, the Cat shows the children a few of his tricks in an attempt to entertain them. In the process, he and his companions, Thing One and Thing Two wreck the house. The children and the fish become more and more alarmed until the Cat produces a machine that he uses to clean everything up and disappears just before the children's mother comes home.
